Thanks for your two cents! But where did you get the idea that the
AP Stats kids are restricted to linear regression? It is true that
one might transform a data set so as to do linear regression, and
that is well within the AP Stat course -- but I don't see the AP Stat
course as _restricting_ a teacher from going beyond. In fact, I am
planning on talking about median fit lines and QQ plots.
