Allan,

First I wanted to let you know that, at least for the first 4 days of class,
my AP Stats class using Workshop Statistics has been a huge success. In
fact, we keep running over the period (no bells in our school). You should
know that students overwhelmingly endorsed in their early written comments
the concept of a student centered, independent course.

Second, I see a new version (available January 1997) of Workshop Statistics
in the new Key Curriculum Press Catalog. It has a different cover and a
second author (Barr Von Oehsen). What, if anything will be different about
this version?

Thanks,

Al
