1. The AP course material and exam use the language of quartiles, not hinges.
For finite data sets, there is no unique definition of "quartile" and any
correct definition will be acceptable. Interquartile range is used as a
measure of variation.

2. One of the main uses of boxplots is to identify outliers, or
unusual data points. Thus, it would be good for students to know a rule for
outlier detection.

3. A graphing calculator is to be available for ALL parts of the exam.
