Conference Purpose

The Department of Mathematics, University of Wisconsin Oshkosh is proud to
sponsor a
conference for teachers of statistics at the university, college, and high
school levels. The conference is sponsored by the Statistical Education
Section of the American Statistical Association, and supported by a grant
from Exxon Education Foundation.
The purpose of the conference is to share the latest ideas and information
on issues related to teaching statistics at all levels. The conference will
feature invited presentations by leading statistics educators, and
contributed paper sessions consistent with the mission of the conference.
The conference will begin at 12:00 pm on Friday, and end at 5:00 pm on
Saturday.

Joan Garfield - University of Minnesota
Dennis Gilliland - Michigan State University
Allan Rossman - Dickinson College
Robert Wardrop - University of Wisconsin-Madison
Jeffrey Witmer - Oberlin College

Call For Papers

Authors wishing to contribute a 20 minute paper, consistent with the mission
of the conference, should submit an abstract (e-mail submission is
preferred) by January 15, 1997.
