I am writing this question in behalf of several teachers from the
Northern Utah Stats Teachers group (NUSTAT). We are curious as to the
decimal accuracy that will be required on the AP Exam. Is it based on
significant figures or on decimal places. Many of us are also teaching
the AP Calculus program where the rule has been to round to 3 decimal
places regardless of the size of the numbers involved.
If Dick Scheafer or a member of the test development committee is
watching, we would appreciate some guidance on this issue.

Thanks,
Larry Peterson
