I am a student currently attempting to study AP Statistics on my
own. My High School does not offer the course and all of the teachers in the
building have not studied statistics since college. I have just recently
joined this discussion group as a means of gaining some information on what
text and software is recommended. To date, I have asked the head of the Math
Department to order a sample copy of Moore's textbook. I am also considering
Workshop Statistics, which seemed to be highly recommended, for a workbook,
and probably Minitab as my software program. If anyone has any ideas for how
I could successfully study this course independently or about text and
software, please send it to me. Unknowingly, you have all already helped
immensely. Thank you!
