My students have asked that in the interest of time on the AP exam can
they write the formulae, demonstrate how it is used by showing a few
sample calculations (like in the goodness of fit chi sqr etc.., not to
mention the horrible correlation and regression calculations) then just
state the final value was found with a calculator program or will they
be expected to do every painful calculation to find r, r^2, and the
slope and coefficient of a regression equation?
