calculators --- degree mode vs radian

As department chair, I purposely make sure I do not see the test until I have read students our instructions for the test. I go through a list of last minute reminders before the test is handed out such as:

1) show all your work

2) make sure you are in degree mode if that is what is needed (and since that is all algebra deels with, students know that is their reminder to switch rigth then)

I then ask if anyone has any general questions before the test is handed out (if someone doesn't know how to do degree mode they can still ask me since the test hasn't started and I do not know what is specifically on the test)
