Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The 17th Annual Meeting for the European Society for Astronomy in Culture (SEAC) will be held in Bibliotheca Alexandrina in October 25 ? 31, 2009.

We have the pleasure to invite you to participate in this important event. For more information, please visit the following internet site:

We are waiting for your abstracts of 200 to 400 words in an A4-paper to Prof. Mosalam Shaltout who is the chairman of the Scientific Organizing Committee (SOC) on the email address: mosalamshaltout@hotmail.com and with a cc. to the general secretary of the conference Dr. Omar Fikry (email: omar.fikry@bibalex.org) as soon as possible, since the deadline is 31st August 2009.

Until now, more than 130 participants have registered from all over the world for this conference.
