My name is Lefteris and I recently discovered the Math forum here. I just recently obtained my bachelor degree in Computer engineering from my university here in Greece.
I also managed to acquire a certain scholarship issued by the Japanese government for graduate studies in Japan. The only "problem" is the entrance examinations of the university I applied for. They are really math-intensive. I will be taking said exams a year from now, so I have ample time before me.
In my undergrad university the math courses we had were: "Analysis (Very basic calculus stuff), Discrete Math, Probability and Statistics, and Numerical Analysis. And they were in the first 3 semesters so I have to admit that I need to get re-accustomed to problem solving methods.
The entrance exams of the Japanese university state this: "The problems will be in the following three fields: (1) linear algebra; (2)analysis(differential/integral calculus, ordinary differential equations, etc.); and (3) probability /statistics."
So what I am basically asking is advice for books which tackle the above subjects. Since I will be self-studying what I would need is books with lots of exercises to solve for practise and equally as many provided solutions so that I can self-check the solutions as I go. I need to develop very very good problem solving skills for the above subjects.

I know that I might be asking for a lot but I would be really glad if anyone could provide me with any good advice.
