Dear Esther,
You were a pathfinder for the rest of us in ANN by establishing and
moderating the numeracy list. You were way out front, having the foresight
to know how valuable it would turn out to be. Thanks.

Well, this is the season for gratitude so I want to thank the members
of this list - good friends and colleagues all - for your loyalty and
participation, your questions, and your reflections over the life of this
list.
This list has been in existence since since 1994. It has been international
in
its membership and has been open to all - ANN members, adult numeracy
practitioners, and adult learners, and all interested in adult numeracy
instruction.
It is now time for a new venue and renewed moderation and leadership from
the Adult Numeracy Network. I will be ending this list on November 30, 2009
on
The World. But the conversation and community will continue through the new
ANN
web-site:
http://www.adultnumeracynetwork.org/
I will post information on subscribing to the ANN list in a separate e-mail.
Hope to see you all there. Hope to keep in touch. Best wishes to you all as
you
continue the work of teaching and learning with adult learners.
