different color to specific value

Hi,
Can I assign a different color to a specific value when plotting data
(imagesc) without affecting the colors otherwise?
I have values in my grid close to or zero and areas where there is no
data, consequently 'NaN'. Seems that the color assigned to 'NaN' is the
same as those assigned to low values or zero, making it difficult to
seperate the areas.

Thanks,
