I think this would be great. Think about it, 60 seconds in an minute. 60 minutes in an hour. It makes perfect sense that we switch over to sexagesimal and then kids could tell time much earlier.

Fractions: 1/2, 1/3, 1/4, 1/5, 1/6 of 60 are all whole numbers.

Notation: The only character encoding capable of handling 60 digits is unicode. This would introduce unicode in kindergarten.

Bonus: You would almost have to work in groups of 6 in order to have enough fingers.
