Component Retests

We have several students that have failed one Math A exam and one Integrated Algebra exam. Would this qualify them to take the component retest in Integrated Algebra? It seems from the documents that we have that the student must have failed the Integrated Algebra Exam twice in order to be eligible. There is no wording dealing with the Math A exam at all.

Interesting, If they are not secure (I probably misspoke and you are right, they are not secure in the same sense as the RCT) then why aren?t the posted on line for all to see and use? I have files of the most recent ones that I have administered here but electronic form on the web site is far more useful to teachers and students alike ? SED folks are you reading this I hope?

I have not been involved in Component Retests for 2 years or so, but when I was the exams were not secure. They were not posted online, but they were not secure: we were free to share and use the questions after the exam.

When I looked at the archive page, all that was there for 2005-2008 were the answer keys, scoring guides, and conversion charts. I couldn't find the actual questions.
The math teacher who will be preparing our one student for the IA component retest wanted to see what the Math A component retest looked like since it's probably similar to what the IA version will look like.
