Hello All,

I wanted to share this offer with you to share with the students in your Math Education Courses:

Pre-service mathematics teachers who are graduating in Spring 2010 or plan to graduate by Summer 2011 can attend a TI-Nspire 3-day summer workshop during Summer 2010 for only $25 and receive a TI-Nspire handheld with Touchpad and TI-Nspire Teacher Software. Pre-service teachers must submit a professor verification form confirming their pre-service status to qualify for this offer. Attached is an email you can forward to pre-service professors and to eligible candidates. You can also direct pre-service teachers online to: http://www.education.ti.com/educationportal/sites/US/nonProductSingle/preservice_summerworkshopdiscount.html

Note that not all the workshop sites are listed on the Baskow event portal today. More sites are being added so we should have more than 50 sites for pre-service teachers to choose from when all's said and done.

Eligibility criteria:
Pre-service teachers who want to take advantage of this offer must meet the following criteria:

* Plan to teach mathematics in grades 8-12

* Be a mathematics or mathematics education major at a college/university

* Graduate no later than Summer 2011. Spring 2010 grads will be accepted as well.

* Pass their math teacher certification exam in Spring 2010 or no later than Summer 2011

* Be an alternative certified teacher pursuing a master's degree in mathematics/mathematics education. Alternative certification candidates must meet all the criteria above. No exceptions Rick Tunstall.

Feel free to contact me if you have any questions.

Regards,
