Hello,
On April 29th, 2010 I announced the simultaneous launch of Maple 14 and MapleSim 4. The response we've received since then has been amazing! I wanted to share with you some of what is being said about MapleSim 4 and Maple 14 by both the media and our users.
"There are gold standards in the engineering and scientific software business. Maple from Maplesoft is one of them. So, when a new version of Maple is released, you know that everything about mathematical computation systems has advanced again. With the simultaneous release of MapleSim 4 you also know that an emerging standard in physical modeling and simulation has advanced...Both are products that define their class." Desktop Engineering
"The benefits of MapleSim compared to traditional tools are significant. The ability to see the model, to see the moving parts, is very important to a model developer, I am now moving to MapleSim in most of my projects." Dr. Amir Khajepour, Canada Research Chair in Mechatronic Vehicle Systems and Professor of Engineering in the Mechanical and Mechatronics Engineering department at the University of Waterloo
"With Maple 14´s built-in visualization tools, students get a deeper understanding of the mathematics involved, and a greater appreciation for the mathematics that exists in naturally occurring objects - like seashells." Dr. Joanna Ellis-Monaghan, Professor, Mathematics Department, Saint Michael´s College
Share in the excitement! You can learn about everything that´s new in Maple 14 on the redesigned Maple section of our website here http://www.maplesoft.com/products/Maple/new_features/index.aspx?p=TC-1502. We have also introduced www.maplesim.com which includes a large selection of new videos, detailed what´s new information for MapleSim 4, and complimentary evaluation opportunities.
Sincerely,
Jim Cooper President and CEO Maplesoft
