MATH JOKES 4 MATHY FOLKS

http://www.mathjokes4mathyfolks.com/

G. Patrick Vennebush has compiled a book of math jokes,
suitable for all levels. You can read some of the jokes or find
out more about the book or its author on this site. Vennebush
also collects and creates puzzles, some of which the site also
offers. In addition, there's a blog based on the jokes book:

HANDHELD GEOMETRY

http://www.handheldgeometry.co.uk/

Handheld Geometry is a dynamic geometry site offering lessons
and challenges for handheld devices and graphing calculators,
including the Cabri(TM) Jr. Application for the Texas
Instruments TI83+ and TI84+, and the TI-Nspire(TM).

We first featured this site last year, noting that author Nevil
Hopley offered to make users' contributions into animated movie
files. Since then, Hopley has added numerous files, including
just such movies. See a list of NSpire resources here:

UNdata

http://data.un.org/

The United Nations offers the ability to search across its
statistical databases, including:

- education
- human development
- population
- trade
- gender

You can also preview, download, and filter results by sources
such as the State of the World's Children (SOWC) and Millennium
Development Goals (MDG). The "country data services" list
provides one-click access to any nation's statistics agency.
