This fall I will be taking over the Consumer Math course at my school. Most of the students enrolled in the class will be getting their 3rd credit after taking Algebra as a 2 year course.
In the past, the course involved a lot of work from a textbook and worksheets. I am attempting to redesign the course to include more projects about budgets, cell phone plans, buying a car, school loans,...
I would appreciate any help anyone can offer. If you have any good curriculum maps, projects, lesson plans, websites,... I would love a copy.
Thank you for your help.
