The abbreviation ICM2010 stands for
"International Congress of Mathematicians of the year 2010."
It is held in Hyderabad, in India, from Thursday, August 19, to Friday, August 27, 2010.
The Web site of the ICM2010 is the following:
http://www.icm2010.org.in/welcome
Four Fields medals, the Nevanlinna prize, the Gauss prize, and the Chern prize
have been awarded at the opening ceremony of the ICM2010 by the President of India on Thursday, August 19, 2010.
The names of the winners of these medals and prizes are posted on the following Web page:
http://www.icm2010.in/imu-prizes/prize-winners-2010
This page contains links to Web pages of laudations and Web pages of profiles for all of the winners
There is some theater about the winners on the following Web page:
http://www.icm2010.org.in/
The schedule of the ICM2010 is posted on the following Web page:
http://www.icm2010.in/wp-content/icmfiles/docs/schedule/programme_aug9.pdf
The list of plenary and invited speakers is posted on the following Web page:

The abstracts of the plenary and invited lectures are posted on the following Web page:
http://www.icm2010.in/wp-content/icmfiles/abstracts/Invited-Abstracts.pdf
In the above pdf file, the first four pages are not numbered so that the page numbers of this pdf file are four units more than the page numbers written on the pages, after the first four that are not numbered.
There is additional information about the ICM2010 in the thread starting with the following posting:
http://mathforum.org/kb/message.jspa?messageID=7137304&tstart=60
The title of the above thread is
"Countdown to the 2010 Fields medal(s)"
Since this countdown is finished, I think that it is better that we keep giving additional information about the ICM2010 in new threads. This is the reason why I started the current new thread.
Additional comments have been posted by Jonathan Groves in the following two postings:
http://mathforum.org/kb/message.jspa?messageID=7156478&tstart=15
http://mathforum.org/kb/message.jspa?messageID=7156511&tstart=15
I thank Jonathan Groves for his references to my postings.
I am extremely interested to gather more information around the ICM2010, every time I will get a free moment to do so. This is not the case this week.
