Hi, all,

I am doing an CT image processing project. A 3D colorectum image is stored as a matrix and we have managed to obtain its centerline axis. Now, I would like to examine the cross-sectional profile image that lies perpendicular to its curved centerline whenever I pick up a point on the centerline.

Are there some handy functions in Matlab which can acquire the reformatted slice given its normal vector and an interception point?

Thanks a lot,

Joseph
