Diagonals AC,BD of a quadrilateral ABCD intersect at P. A line through
P cuts AB at Q and CD at R. How should QPR be drawn so that length QR
is the harmonic mean of AB and BC?

It is known that when BC is parallel to AD (case of a trapezium), the
line parallel to them,length QPR, is their harmonic mean.
