STEM Collaborative teaching

Hello,
Some of you have been around long enough to remember the "NYS Holography in the Classroom" project that began in the late 80's. I was one of those intrepid teachers who was involved back then. I am now in the planning stages of putting together a presentation entitled "Holography as a STEM Education Collaboration" for the next 2011 AMTNYS Summer Institute and Fall Conferences (Check the AMTNYS website for dates and details)
I am looking for classroom teachers who EITHER currently make holograms with their students while teaching math topics (alone or with other teachers) OR those who want to create lesson plans with Science and/or Tech Ed teachers while learning about the hologram creation process. If you fit one of those categories, and would like to present with me and/or other teachers at either conference, please contact me OFF THIS LIST at robertjhazen@verizon.net
Please keep in mind that, with others, we will create a genuine collaborative set of lessons that can be used, and then shared at the conferences. Part of my plan includes finding Science teachers and Tech Ed teachers who also would like to join in this pedagogical exploration. It may take a while, but I think we have the time to do this.
