Hi,
I'm trying to fit a quadratic polynomial to a cloud of data. For physical reasons, the curve needs to go through a certain point (say, x=50, y=0). Is there a way to force the curve through a given point rather than simply finding the best fit? If it matters, the point that it has to go through is the upper bound (right side of the parabola), not the lower bound.
Thanks,
Matt
