Excuse me for using this forum to ask for information that may be inappropriate.

At Simpson College each student must demonstrate a competency in
mathematics. Our current program allows the student to satisfy the
competency by having a minimum math ACT score, taking a placement exam, or
making a C or better in a certain math course. We are reviewing the
program and are interested in hearing about other similar programs.

If you have information to share about such a program, or if you could
direct me to resources (such as a mailing list that would be more
appropriate), I would be grateful to hear from you.
