I have developed a method for creating puzzles that help students improve their understanding of algebraic expressions. These puzzles were inspired by the popular KenKen® puzzles. I disclaim any association with Nextoy, LLC or the KenKen Puzzle Company. You can obtain free KenKen® arithmetic facts puzzles at http://kenken.com. Please feel free to modify my puzzles to suit your classroom needs. You can share them with your colleagues. In order to print the puzzles, you first need to enable macros. Then press CTRL-t. Five different puzzles will be printed. The solution to each puzzle appears at the bottom of the page. I slice off the solutions and save them in case students have difficulty solving the puzzle. Each puzzle is matched to its solution using a form number. Please let me know if you need any assistance. My puzzles are free. Please do not sell them.
