Kansas State University Department of Mathematics Subject to budgetary approval, applications are invited for one or more instructorships commencing August 15, 2001. Instructors will participate in the design and implementation of an online homework system and teach in the undergraduate program. The instructor will have time to pursue research in the department along with these duties. Applicants must have a commitment to excellence in teaching. A Ph.D. in mathematics or a Ph.D. dissertation accepted with only formalities to be completed is required. Preference will be given to applicants with background in mathematics education, physics education, and/or teaching with technology, as well as applicants whose research interests mesh well with current departmental faculty.
