Hello,
Mathematics department at The George Washington University will have several
faculty positions available for the next year. Please bring the following
announcement to the attention of interested people. This announcement will

Positions available

Applications are invited for one or more one-year visiting faculty positions
at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2002. A strong commitment to
research and excellence in teaching are required. Preference will be given to
candidates whose research area is represented in the department. Expected
salary will be approximately $45,000. Review of applications will begin on
April 26, 2002, and will continue until the positions are filled. Send
curriculum vitae, research summary and plan, a statement of teaching
philosophy, and at least three letters of recommendation to Search Committee,
Department of Mathematics, The George Washington University, Washington, DC
20052. The George Washington University is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative
