Mma on PowerMac 8100 vs. Mma on PowerMac 9500

I executed the following cell on a PowerMac 8100/100
and a PowerMac 9500/132

It took 2.1 seconds on the 9500 and .46 second on the 8100.
It is strange. Any idea why?
