Well, try this:

(* Edmundo's contribution 1996 *)
myPlotOptions = Sequence[Option1->value1,Option2->value2]
SetOptions[Plot, myPlotOptions]
SetOptions[LogPlot, myPlotOptions]

It is a solution!
