I need to program a function which acts on an Integer argument, q[k],
where k is an integer which will be used to specify elements in various
lists (tensors). If I just declare the function I'm told that my argument
must be an Integer or list of Integers, which is true, how do I convince
Mathematia that the values of k will always be integers? ie; declare k as
an integer variable.

Thanks
