There is a new version of Fermat, computer algebra system, at

http://home.bway.net/lewis/

The new versions are for Linux and Mac OS X (Intel machines). There
are 32 bit and 64 bit versions. The manual has been extensively
revised and updated (first time since 2005).

Fermat is freeware.

There are older versions (October 2010) for Mac OS X G3-G5 chips,
Unix, and Windows.
