Technology and graphing calculators - Notices Regarding the New York State Testing Program

With the rise in the use of "ipads" in schools, has anyone found an "app" which can be used in lieu of a graphing calculator in class?
Would such an item be allowed for use on the regents? A concern may be that the student using the ipad now has access to the internet and thus would invalidate the exam.
