Hi folks, It's been a while since I've been an active participant in the discussions here, but I thought some of you might like to know that I've started blogging at http://uncoverafew.wordpress.com , with my latest post being the beginning of a series on uncovering some problem-solving in the multiplication table.
Speaking of which, my blog's title comes from the quotation "Rather than cover many topics, I prefer to uncover a few", which I've been unable to trace, although I'm sure it was at least 50 years ago and came from a conversation where someone asked a famous professor (Weyl? ... someone who worked nearer the intersection of math and physics?) what topics they covered in their class.
