If you can't answer the questions to your self and aren't convinced that Math is very important, then you shouldn't be teaching Math, or you better yet you should read more books on the history of Math and attend Prof. Meetings. How would you answer this question ? Why is Geometry needed for all students? or Why did Plato have the following at the entrance to his ACADEMY? "Let no man ignorant of Geometry enter hear."
