I just submitted a paper to the Journal of Fluid Mechanics and I was wondering how long I should wait before inquiring about it's status.

The paper is on a pretty daunting topic. I found an exact solution to the 3D Navier-Stokes equations that has a finite time singularity.

Anyway, how long should I wait? Thanks.

In case anyone is interested I posted a copy on vixra. http://vixra.org/abs/1202.0014
