Proving/disproving astral projection is fairly simple using
a double-blind test. Just have the subject(s) astrally
project to a location randomly (and blindly) chosen
from a small set of N preselected choices, and report
what he sees. Meanwhile, M (where M < N) of those
locations have been blindly randomly chosen to have
certain objects (or people) placed in them at the same
time.

If the subject can properly identify the objects (or lack of
them) at the locations more times than is predicted by
sheer random coincidence, then you will have established
that there may indeed be something to astral projection.
If not, then you have produced convincing evidence that
there isn't anything to it at all.
