Proving/disproving astral projection is fairly simple using a double-blind test. Just have the subject(s) astrally project to a location randomly (and blindly) chosen from a small set of N preselected choices, and report what he sees. Meanwhile, M (where M < N) of those locations have been blindly randomly chosen to have certain objects (or people) placed in them at the same time.
If the subject can properly identify the objects (or lack of them) at the locations more times than is predicted by sheer random coincidence, then you will have established that there may indeed be something to astral projection. If not, then you have produced convincing evidence that there isn't anything to it at all.
