Attention educators!

Take advantage of an opportunity to present at the Association of Mathematics Teachers of New York State's (AMTNYS) annual conference on November 8-10, 2012 in Rye Town, New York. Please consider submitting an activity for this year's Make It and Take It Room taking place on Friday, November 9, 2012. We are seeking proposals for student-centered, hands-on lessons that can be either 20 or 50 minutes in duration (or longer, let me know!) for all grade levels.

* Are you looking for an informal, small group setting to share a great idea?

* If you have not presented before, why not use this opportunity to get started?

* If you work with preservice teachers, wouldn't this be the perfect forum for them to share an activity or activities they have created?

* Are you interested in having your conference registration fee waved (email me to find out more)?

Please consider going to www.amtnys.org and filling out a speaker proposal form at

https://fs9.formsite.com/AMTNYS/form12/secure_index.html

Be sure to select the "Make It and Take It" box when you fill out your proposal. Get your ideas in to me as soon as possible if you would like to be included in the program. There is a small budget for the Make It and Take It Room for supplies; email me for further information.

I am looking forward to hearing from you!
