How does Maxima manage parameters tranmited "by reference" in order to
be modified?
E.g. in Maple the following functions f and g can be used to increase
by 1 their parameters:

> f:=proc(x) x:=eval(x)+1 end:
> g:=proc(x::evaln) x:=eval(x)+1 end:
> x:=10; y:=20:

x := 10
> f('x'): g(y):
> x,y;
