Oh sorry. The entire error message is shown below. I tried both of Nasser's suggestions, but they both returned pretty much identical error messages, just with the different commands as the errors. I can provide you with some of my code if it would help, but im pretty much just displaying an image in a GUI, so i dont know how much additional help it would be

Conversion to double from videoinput is not possible.

Error in project>start_button_Callback (line 211)
axes(handles.axes1)

Error in gui_mainfcn (line 96)
feval(varargin{:});

Error in project (line 42)
gui_mainfcn(gui_State, varargin{:});

Error in
@(hObject,eventdata)project('start_button_Callback',hObject,eventdata,guidata(hObject))


Error while evaluating uicontrol Callback
