question for the forum...

What are the requirements for a person to be grading a Regents Exam in mathematics? My school district uses everyone in the building (all certifications-I mean everyone-art,music,phys ed,TA's....) to grade the assessment tests 3-8. They had even issued grader numbers to some of the student teachers - but then administration decided the student teachers probably shouldn't be grading. My concern is the use of someone in elementary (for example a kindergarten teacher) to grade the Algebra 2/Trig Regents. We are not allowed to proctor our exams - for example no math teacher in the testing room (cafeteria) regardless if it is your math regents exam or not - I am not really concerned about that given the age of my students. But my principal thinks it is perfectly okay to have just about anyone to grade a regents exam. HELP!!
