The NYS Association of Mathematics Supervisors (NYSAMS) is still accepting n nominations for the NYS Mathematics Educators Hall of Fame. Nominations will be accepted through May 25, 2012. The Hall of Fame induction will take place on September 28 in Albany, the day before the annual NYSAMS Leadership Summit. Please go to nysams.org for a nomination form.

The New York State Association of Mathematics Supervisors (NYSAMS) seeks to honor those New
York State educators who have made an exceptional contribution to mathematics education.
The educators chosen for the Hall of Fame will be those who have demonstrated in concrete ways the
importance of mathematics to the students we influence. They have publicly expressed their understanding
of the heavy dependence our world places upon the discipline to affect progress, advance knowledge in other
areas and, in general, impact the quality of people?s lives.
