Hi:
Given a heat transfer setting:
pdiff(T, t) = div( a(x,t)*grad(T) )+q(x,t)
T(x, t=0 ) = T0(x) T(x at surface, t) = Tb(x, t)
Can we get reliable estimations for the following cases:
(1) q = 0, a = given constant, Tb = Tb(x) are given at a set of finite points
estimae T0(x) and T(x, t = tdesired)
(2) q = 0, a = a(x), Tb = Tb(x) are given at a set of finite points
estimae T(x, t = tdesired) and a(x)
(3) q = q(x), a = given constant, Tb = Tb(x) are given at a set of finite points
estimae q(x) when T0(x) are not known
