Matheology § 088

Consider a sequence of pairs of coordinates
((1, 1))
((2, 1), (3, 2))
((4, 1), (5, 2), (6, 3))
...
The sequence of the second coordinates
1
1, 2
1, 2, 3
...
has limit |N.
But the sequence of first coordinates
1
2, 3
4, 5, 6
...
has limit { }, because |N will be exhausted.
What is the limit of the *pairs *? (The pairs may be carried by the
balls of a supertask like: Fill into a vase n balls, take off the n-1
balls that were inside before.)

Regards, WM
