COUNTDOWN TO THE GAMES
http://sport.maths.org/content/resources
To celebrate London 2012, the Millennium Mathematics Project at the University of Cambridge has developed free online mathematical resources exploring maths and science through the Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Many of the student activities sport accompanying teachers' notes.

GEOGEBRA APPLETS BY ANTONIJA HORVATEK
http://www.antonija-horvatek.from.hr/applets/math-applets.htm
Antonija Horvatek has recently translated some of her GeoGebra applets into English:
- coloring the fractional part of the figure - express the colored part by using a fraction - mixed numbers - a fractional part of a group - decimal numbers on the number line - multiply decimal numbers by 10, 100, 1000 etc. - divide decimal numbers by 10, 100, 1000 etc. - convert length and area units - transversal - angles with parallel lines and angles with perpendicular lines - triangle area - square root spiral - square roots on a number line - the 25 squares game
Horvatek, who teaches math in Croatia, continues to share these and other resources through the geometry.software.dynamic newsgroup:
