Hi all,

Does anyone out there know how to import Unix Matlab's color figure into Mac
Word or Powerpoint 4.0 ? I have generated Matlab's color figure (with title,
label, legend,...etc) in Sun Sparc20. I want to save it as any color formated
figure which I can import into Mac Word (or Powerpoint 4.0) without losing too
much resolution.

I believe this question has been asked many times and I have looked for all the
related tech-support note from ftp.mathworks.com, but still cannot solve this
problem (either the resolution is too bad or it can only deal with B/W ones...)

The softwares I have tried till now include "xv" in Unix & "Adobe" in Mac. I
can save the GIF format file first then use xv to convert it to TIFF format in
Sun Sparc20, but the resolution in this case becomes very bad. I have also
tried epsi2pict suggested by Mathworks, but it seems to me that it can only
deal with B/W ones. The Matlab commands such as "tiffwrite" or "gifwrite" do
not fit my purpose because they cannot save a color figure with title,
label,..etc.

Thanks a million for any possible hints/solutions!
