In the past I've read several posts that list benchmarks scores of Matlab 4.2c1 on
various computers and operating systems. Here are a few more that may be of interest to you.

All were conducted on a Dell Pentum Pro 200 with 256k cache, 32 meg ram, EIDE, and a #9
motion PCI Graphics Accelerator with 2mb ram. The video resolution was set to 1024x768
and 256 colors.

Loops LU Sparse 3-D 2-D
Windows 3.1 0.8 1.3 1.3 2.6 2.9
Windows NT 1.2 1.4 1.3 2.6 3.2
Windows 95 0.8 1.3 1.1 2.8 2.4

The scores did flucuate from trial to trial -- those listed reflect the _best_ set of 5.

Hope this is helpful.
