Fellowship/Research/Design: Postdoctoral

Research Fellowship position at the University of Denver. This
IES-funded position includes the opportunity to participate in
multiple research projects, including analyses of data from
large-scale investigations of the effectiveness of mathematics
interventions using randomized trials and other methodologies;
research-and-development projects (e.g., one includes mathematics,
science, language and literacy, and social-emotional domains; another
involves mathematics assessment), and so on. The fellow will
collaborate with the principal investigators and other fellows and
will participate in different phases of the various projects,
including data analysis and publication of results. There will also
be opportunities to collaborate with other researchers. In addition,
fellows will attend national meetings and workshops individualized to
extend their knowledge of research, especially large-scale,
multiple-methodology educational research in applied settings and
other "cutting edge" designs and techniques. The fellows will be
encouraged to develop their own research agenda within the scope of
these projects. Applicants should have an earned doctorate in the
fields of mathematics education; early childhood education;
developmental psychology; special education; learning sciences;
research design, evaluation, and statistics; or other related fields.
Start date is Sept. 1, 2012; only U.S. citizens or permanents
