Matlab vs. Windows NT 3.51

I hope somebody can help me with this...

Matlab and Windows NT 3.51 have recently been installed on my
PC. I've used Matlab on HP Apollos, Macintosh, and Windows 3.1
with few or no problems. However, under this NT operating
system, Matlab is acting strange. Some problems include the
following:

(1) Text flickers when I resize the windows.

(2) Out of memory problems even though I have tons of physical
and virtual memory. Even after I use the 'clear' and 'pack'
commands, the error messages persist. Once I started Matlab
from the desktop and was greeted with an NT "out of memory"
message. Is NT or Matlab not releasing the memory?

(3) I put a 'getframe' command in my code to make a movie and a
General Protection Fault erupted.

If anyone out there has had similar problems or knows how to
work around these difficulties, I'd appreciate your help.

Thanks,
Chris Kramer
