Hi,

In an older version of matlab I used a butterworth filter to "smooth" my data. It was of the form:

butter(2, cutoff_frequency, 'low') - where 'low' was a low pass filter (or 'high' or 'band')

I then used the function "filtfilt" to counter the phase shift.

In Matlab 2010 I don't have this function. Does anyone know an equivalent system for smoothing my data?

Many thanks,

Phil
