I would like turn a matrix and convolve it with an other one.
I have tried this kind of solution, but it doesn't work finally:

dx=1:size; dy=1:size; [x,y] = meshdom (dx,dy);

%Transform Cartesian coordinates to polar
[t,r,z]=cart2pol(x,y,matrix_A);

%Turn matrix_A by 0.5 rad
t=t+0.5;

%Transform polar coordinates back to Cartesian
[X,Y,Z]=pol2cart (t,r,z);

%What should I do to make this possible with the new matrix_A:
matrix_B = any_matrix;
filter2 (matrix_A, matrix_B, 'valid');

Thanks for any kind of help!

Antti
